2026 FARMFEST
Strathgyle Brafords had two of their young show bulls on display for Farmfest. These bulls created significant interest, with a number of the same bloodlines on sale for the 2026 National Braford Sale & New Dimension Sale.
2026 DUBBO BRAFORD FEATURE SHOW
Our team of 4 young bulls had a very successful day with all of them being prize winners -
Strathgyle General - 12-16mths - 1st in class & Reserve Junior Champion
Strathgyle Commander - 20-24mths - 2nd in class
Strathgyle Pedro - 12-16mths - 3rd in class
Strathgyle Buckeroo - 16-20mths - 4th in class
Pair of Bulls - 2nd
Results capped an excellent outing for the stud with over 60hd on display from 13 studs, from across QLD & NSW.
2026 Dalby show
Strathgyle Team had a very successful day at the 2026 Dalby Show, considering the strong competition with over 70 stud cattle in attendance with majority comprised of tropical breeds. Results included -
Strathgyle Commander - 20-24mths - 1st in class, Senior Champion Tropical Bull, Grand Champion Tropical Bull, Supreme Champion Bull & Champion Exhibit of the Show.
Strathgyle General - 12-16mths - 1st in class & Junior Champion Tropical Bull
Strathgyle Pedro - Under 12mths - 2nd in class
Strathgyle Buckeroo - 12-16mths - 2nd in class
Strathgyle Outback - 12-16mths - 3rd in class

2022 FARMFEST
Farmfest was true to form again this year turning on a week of freezing cold weather. Continued interest was shown over the three days from old and new visitors to the Braford site. Farmfest is an venue to showcase our cattle for the upcoming sales.
2022 ST GEORGE BRAFORD FEATURE SHOW
Strathgyle exhibited 8 head at the show.
Very successful showing winning 5 x 1st places, 4 x 2nd places, 1 x 3rd place also
Calf Champion Bull – Strathgyle Salvador
Reserve Senior Champion Bull – Strathgyle Mario
Will won the Under 12 Young Handlers competition
Hudson came 3rd in the Junior Herdsman competition
2023 National Braford Youth Camp
Approx 30 children attended the 2023 National Braford Youth camp at the Bell Showgrounds. It was a great experience to learn showring craft, cattle selection & public speaking whilst forming friendships with fellow breed youngsters. A great time was had by all. Will, Paige & Hudson enjoyed their couple of days with Paige winning the ‘All Rounder’ (7-9yrs) & Hudson winning Paraders competition (7-9yrs).
2024 BEEF WEEK
We enjoyed a great week at BEEF 2024. there was a magnificent display of over 100 head of Brafords presented for judging from throughout Queensland and New south Wales. the Braford trade site was very well attended and provided heightened interest in the Braford breed and what Brafords can offer in the cattle industry as a whole.
BEEF 2024 was another successful show with our junior team. Our young bulls were amongst the ribbon recipients and created significant interest with their great eye muscle areas and weight for age.
2025 Strathgyle Exports to pakistan

2025 MT PERRY BRAFORD FEATURE SHOW
Strathgyle exhibited 6 head at the 2025 Mt Perry Feature Show, with all exhibits receiving 1st, 2nd or 3rd placings amongst very strong competition from QLD & NSW studs. With the highlight being Strathgyle Scarlett winning Junior Champion Heifer.
Will, Paige & Hudson enjoyed competing in the young paraders and junior judging competition, with Hudson winning 2nd prize in the junior judging. Lucy also enjoyed the show experience.
